vitabyo.com is owned and operated by Vlafirar Concept S.R.L., a Romanian limited liability company trading under the Vitabyo™ brand. Vlafirar Concept S.R.L. is the seller of record for every order placed on this site and is responsible for its content.

4 · Consumer protection

Complaints, consumer rights and dispute resolution

Step 1 — tell us

Email support@vitabyo.com with your order number and what went wrong. We acknowledge every complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. Most issues are settled at this step.

Your statutory rights

• Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal on physical products and a two-year legal guarantee of conformity (in Romania: Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021). These rights exist on top of our own 30-day money-back guarantee and 12-month limited warranty — you may rely on whichever is more favourable to you. Details are in Sections 11–13 of the Terms.
• Consumers in the United States keep the rights granted by federal and state law that cannot be excluded. Disputes are resolved as set out in Section 22 of the Terms (binding individual arbitration and class-action waiver), which you should read before ordering.
• Consumers elsewhere (Canada, Australia and other countries) keep all non-excludable statutory rights under local law, including the Australian Consumer Law guarantees where applicable.

Step 2 — consumer authority and alternative dispute resolution (SAL)

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Romanian consumer protection authority, which supervises Vlafirar Concept S.R.L., or submit the dispute to alternative dispute resolution:

Consumers in other EU/EEA countries can also use the alternative dispute resolution body in their own country, or ask the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net, eccnet.eu) for help with a cross-border complaint.

The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR / SOL) was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and can no longer be used to file complaints. Use the SAL route above instead.

5 · Digital content

Digital products and the right of withdrawal

Alongside our physical massage products we sell digital products — PDF guides, eBooks and audio programmes — and we include The 10-Minute Touch massage guide (PDF) free with every physical order. Different rules apply to digital and physical items.

Delivery and licence

• Digital products are delivered immediately after payment: a download link appears on the order confirmation page and is emailed to you (and stored in your account, if you created one). If nothing arrives within one hour, check your spam folder, then write to support and we will resend it.
• You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, store and use the content for your own non-commercial purposes. Sharing, reselling, publishing or posting it online is not permitted (Section 14 of the Terms).

Physical products — 14 days by law, 30 days from us

Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK may withdraw from the purchase of a physical product within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason (Directive 2011/83/EU; in Romania, Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014). Send an unequivocal statement by email or by post to the registered office; you may use the model withdrawal form in Section 12 of the Terms, but you do not have to. Independently of this, every customer worldwide has our 30-day money-back guarantee under the Refund & Return Policy. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days after we receive the product — for EU/EEA/UK consumers, within 14 days of receiving either the product or proof that you have sent it, whichever comes first.

Digital content — delivered instantly, so the right of withdrawal ends when delivery begins

Because digital content is supplied immediately, by ordering it you expressly request delivery before the 14-day withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the download or access begins (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Article 16 letter m of GEO no. 34/2014). Digital purchases are therefore final once delivered, except where: (a) the file is corrupted, inaccessible or not as described — we will replace it or refund you; (b) you are an EU/EEA/UK consumer and the request and acknowledgment above were not obtained; or (c) the law of your country requires otherwise. EU consumers also keep the conformity remedies for digital content under Directive (EU) 2019/770.

Responsible economic operator (EU)

For products sold to consumers in the European Union, the economic operator responsible under Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety is Vlafirar Concept S.R.L., Str. Mihai Viteazu nr. 10, Bușteni, Prahova County, 105500, Romania — support@vitabyo.com.

To report a safety concern, an accident or a suspected defect, email us with “Product safety” in the subject line and include your order number, photos or a short video, and a description of what happened. We record and investigate every report.

7 · Privacy

Personal data

The controller of personal data collected through vitabyo.com is Vlafirar Concept S.R.L. (registered office above). Privacy requests — access, correction, deletion, objection, data portability — go to support@vitabyo.com. How and why we process data, the third parties involved and retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy; residents of US states with privacy laws can opt out of targeted-advertising data sharing on Your Privacy Choices.

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority — Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. • What you may do: browse and use the site for personal shopping, and use purchased or gifted digital products under the personal licence described in Section 5 above.
• What needs our prior written permission: copying, reproducing, republishing, scraping, framing or creating derivative works from any content, and using the Vitabyo name or logo in advertising, on marketplaces or to sell goods.
• Third-party marks: names and logos of other companies shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify their products or services.
• Infringement notices: if you believe content on this site infringes your rights, email support@vitabyo.com with a description of the work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact details and a good-faith statement. Notices concerning US rights should follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Health and safety disclaimer

Vitabyo products are comfort and wellness products. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Nothing on this site — product descriptions, guides, eBooks, audiobooks, videos, blog posts, customer reviews, emails or replies from our support team — is medical advice, and individual results vary.

• Talk to a doctor first if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or an injury, or have a neck, back or spinal condition, osteoporosis, a circulatory or heart condition, a skin condition in the contact areas, or any other health concern. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something you read here.
• Use as instructed: read the instructions before first use; use the product only for its intended purpose, on a stable surface, within the stated weight limit and with every part correctly assembled and secured. Inspect it before each use and stop using a damaged or worn product.
• Stop immediately and seek medical care if you feel pain, numbness, dizziness or any discomfort beyond mild pressure.
• Adults only. Keep products away from children and pets, and do not use them while impaired by alcohol, medication or drugs.

Safe use is your responsibility. Sections 4, 5 and 20 of the Terms of Service set out the full safety notice and the limits of our liability.

10 · Platform

Hosting, payments and prices

vitabyo.com runs on the Shopify platform, provided by Shopify Inc. (151 O’Connor Street, Ground floor, Ottawa, Ontario K2P 2L8, Canada) and its affiliates. Payments are processed by the providers shown at checkout — for example Shopify Payments and PayPal — through PCI DSS-compliant systems; we never see or store your full card number.

Prices are displayed in the currency selected for your location and include VAT or other consumption taxes where we are required to collect them. Delivery costs, transit times and the treatment of import duties for each destination are set out in the Shipping Policy and the Terms of Service; the total shown at checkout is what you pay us.

Governing law and status of this page

This page and all contracts concluded through vitabyo.com are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. This page is provided for information and identification; if anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms prevail. We may update this page from time to time — the date at the top shows the current version.
